Gilbert & Sullivan orchestrations
Orchestrations for many of Gilbert & Sullivan (G&S) operettas are available from Pattersong Music. These arrangements are ideal for use in smaller venues, where either a full orchestra would not fit in the space available, or where the full orchestral sound would be too big for the singers.
I supply orchestrations for: The Mikado, The Pirates of Penzance, H.M.S. Pinafore, Trial by Jury, Gondoliers, Iolanthe, Ruddigore, Patience and The Sorcerer. Each arrangement is scored for nine players (eight for Patience & four to six for The Sorcerer).
The parts are professionally printed in a large, easy to read format and have been produced to the highest standard using the excellent Sibelius music notation program. Each set comes with a full conductor’s score.
